Farewell to Michael Jackson

Now I'm not familiar with English Pounds, but I was looking on eBay and someone in England spent the equivalent of $1,090,108.80 in pounds for a ticket to Michael Jackson's Memorial Service tomorrow. I am not kidding. It clearly states the winning bid was GBP 666,000.00
(approximately US
1,090,108.80). Why would someone be so ignorant and sell a ticket in the first place, let alone for that kind of money. For that matter, why would a true fan buy it? It's wrong, and the seller AND buyer should be punished.

I loved Michael Jackson's music, his dancing, his electric personality and his ability to entertain like no one else. I feel he has made some bad decisions over the years and what has happened is so sad. I grew up with Michael, the Jackson 5 and listened to his music all through my 20's and 30's. My kids listened to it, they were just little and used to dance to it and we've all learned the Thriller dance over the years. I have cried, and will again tomorrow and I almost cannot watch some of the news clips because it makes me so melancholy and blue. But I watch anyway.

Michael was an enigma. He was one of the most popular singers of his day but still so mysterious. He was truly one of the best. I will say my Farewell to Michael in my home, privately and with respect. We'll miss him and love him forever. I still can't believe it's true.
